Kinnari Satra, operating as Think Swallow Thrive ("I," "me," or "my"), publishes this website as an educational and informational resource. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies only to thinkswallowthrive.com and not to any other service, including my clinical practice records, which are governed separately by applicable health information privacy law.

Information I Collect

Information you provide directly. If you use the Contact form, I collect your name, email address, the reason for your message, and whatever you write in the message field. This information is submitted through Web3Forms, a third-party form processing service, which delivers your message to me by email. Web3Forms' own privacy practices govern how it handles data in transit; I do not control their systems.

Information collected automatically. This site does not use analytics software, advertising trackers, or cookies of its own. My hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information common to any website, such as IP address, browser type, and page requests, for security and server maintenance purposes. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering the font files; Google's own privacy policy governs that exchange.

On-site search. The search feature on the Blog page runs entirely in your browser against a static index. Your search terms are never sent to me or to any third-party server.

Third-Party Services

This site relies on a small number of outside services to operate:

• Web3Forms, which receives and forwards contact form submissions to me by email.
• Google Fonts, which delivers the typefaces used on this site and may receive your IP address as part of that request.
• My hosting provider, which serves the site's files and may keep standard server access logs.

I do not use advertising networks, social media tracking pixels, or third-party analytics platforms on this site.

How I Use Your Information

Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your question, comment, or request. I do not use this information for marketing, do not add you to a mailing list without your separate consent, and do not sell or rent visitor information to any third party.

A Note on Sensitive Health Information

As a speech-language pathologist, I am a healthcare provider bound by applicable health information privacy law in my clinical practice. This website, however, is a public marketing and educational resource, not a secure patient portal or clinical communication channel. The contact form itself asks visitors not to include sensitive medical information, and I ask the same here: please do not submit protected health information, such as details of a specific diagnosis, treatment history, or medical records, through this site. If you need to discuss your own or a loved one's care, that conversation should happen through your healthcare provider's secure channels.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies for tracking or advertising purposes. Third-party services embedded on the site, such as Web3Forms during a contact form submission, may set cookies as part of their own technical operation; those are governed by that service's privacy policy, not this one.

Data Retention

Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping, then deleted. You may request earlier deletion of your information at any time by reaching out through the Contact page.

Your Choices

You are never required to use the contact form or provide any personal information to browse this site. If you have already submitted information and would like it corrected, deleted, or would like to know what I have on file, contact me and I will respond promptly.

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because this site does not track visitors across other websites or use behavioral advertising in the first place, there is currently nothing for that signal to opt you out of here.

California Privacy Rights

This practice is based in California, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) may apply to how this site handles information from California residents. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information has been collected about you and to request its deletion. Because this site collects very limited information, mainly what you choose to submit through the contact form, honoring these rights is straightforward: contact me and I will provide, correct, or delete your information as requested. This site is intended primarily for a United States audience, and content and sourcing decisions are made with that audience in mind.
